The three bank holidays next week, all of which were declared in advance, are unlikely to inconvenience customers.
All banks are closed for transactions on April 2 because of yearly closing of account. There will be no banking operations because of holidays on April 5 (Mahavir Jayanti) and April 6 (Good Friday). Bank employees said that usually every year in April, banks have a number of holidays, and so adequate arrangements have been made.
In an attempt to limit inconvenience to SBI customers, the bank has announced that all its branches will work for the full day on Saturday (March 31).
